Like most aspects of real estate investing, when you are cold calling potential sellers it is all about the follow up. In this episode Ryan talks about the importance of following up with homeowner no matter what the outcome was when you actually spoke to the homeowner the first time. Maybe they were not motivated to sell their property at the time you called them. Potential sellers, depending on the situation, can become motivated. You want to do everything you can to be the investor that gets the property in contract when they are motivated. So stay in touch with the potential seller. If you think offering a little more for their property or changing some of the terms of the contract will make the difference, then have a plan and execute so that you can increase your chances of getting the deal.
