Broward Real Estate Investors Association Mission Statement
The purpose of the Broward Real Estate Investors Association is to provide a dynamic educational and networking environment for all real estate investors from beginners to full time pros, homeowners, and real estate professionals where all members will have the opportunity to enhance their real estate education, in addition to freely networking with all in attendance.
What is BREIA?
The Broward Real Estate Investors Association is an organization and networking platform for real estate investors, real estate professionals and homeowners. It is our intention to educate and connect our community and to motivate people interested in real estate to achieve the success they desire. The ongoing education is endless, and as a result, hopefully your goals will continue to evolve and your success in the real estate business will increase from being involved with BREIA. In addition, BREIA provides a friendly atmosphere which promotes networking and allows all in attendance to grow by learning from other’s experiences. The founders of BREIA firmly believe that some of the best lessons have been learned from others who have chosen to share their experiences and save others from the school of hard knocks. As we are always expanding our network, BREIA has now expanded to Miami Dade with the newly formed Miami Dade Real Estate Investors Association. We have always been involved in real estate in Miami Dade county, but now we are building our corporate structure to have more of a foundation here in South Florida. Both BREIA and the MD-REIA are the only chapters of the National Real Estate Investors Association. This gives our members even more benefits leveraged by our connection with NREIA.
Who Attends and Why?
Those who attend BREIA come from various backgrounds and all walks of life, all with one thing in common … real estate. Attendees range from people with limited schooling to those who have completed post-graduate work. More importantly, in attendance are professionals that support the real estate investors such as attorneys, title agents, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, appraisers, etc., all of whom have knowledge and expertise to add to your investing success. Since high school, Antonio knew real estate was one of his passions. Antonio has owned several businesses including a car dealership before he graduated with a Psychology degree from Florida international University. Antonio got a true taste of real estate investing when he purchased his first investment property in 2009. After earning his degree, one of the top 100 Companies in The US invited Antonio to work for them. Antonio became the top producer but corporate America couldn't keep up with Antonio’s dreams of success and entrepreneurship. In 2013, Antonio decided to get his real estate license and join the mentorship program at the Broward Real Estate Investors Association. Although almost immediately successful in real estate, Antonio struggled and persevered to open a successful real estate investment company, Antlop Investment Properties, and became Miami's number one short sale expert. Many families have been kept out of foreclosure because of Antonio’s commitment to distressed homeowners. Antonio since then has been invited to be the Director for both the Miami-Dade and Broward real estate investors Association. His future intentions are to grow the Miami-Dade and Broward REIA chapters and share his knowledge of real estate investing to the next generation of investors and money-makers.
Ambassadors of BREIA
Bill and Jan Leon have been real estate investors for over 25 years and have wholesaled over 2,000 properties. With a true desire to teach others their successful methods, they toured the United States teaching the real estate investing course Millionaire Masters. While traveling the country, they realized there was a need for a local association for people interested in real estate. The Broward Real Estate Investors Association was created. It was built as a platform for real estate professionals and homeowners to network and learn about the current real estate market and investing in these markets.
